This tour option was designed for Brownie and Scout troops who can only be here after school. We also invite Mom’s Clubs to take advantage of this fun afternoon activity with their groups, which can include their school age children as well.

Groups may reserve the wagon on Thursday and Friday afternoons. The activity takes about 45 minutes and brings you back to the market when you are finished picking.

 A fee of $5 per family includes a scenic wagon ride through the orchard with a stop to do some apple picking with your family and friends. There is a minimum fee of $50 per group for this activity. Apples picked are paid for separately and will be charged at $1.25 per lb. For enthusiastic pickers that pick over 20 lbs. the rate is reduced to $1.00 per lb. Apples are weighed upon our return to the market.

During the months of July and August groups are welcome to come and participate in a favorite orchard activity, Blueberry picking! Our tour begins with a wagon ride through the Orchard where we have a chance to see some of the different fruits as they grow. With a brief lesson on Blueberry picking, visitors will each pick their own half pint of  Blueberries. Everyone then gathers under the trees to listen to a related story reading.  This is a really fun time for youngsters pre K through grade 4.

Summertime Tours run on Thursdays and Fridays only. Approximate tour time is about 1 hr.

Tour fees are $8.00 per visitor, including fruit picked. There is a minimum charge of $80.00 for groups of 10 or less.

We can accommodate groups of up to 40 visitors for this tour.  Reservations are required as for all tours at Solebury Orchards.

Tables are available if you wish to picnic in the orchard while visiting.
