Apple picking has begun. This week for pick-your-own we have
the Honey Crisp and Crimson Crisp varieties. The apple
crop looks very good this year and there will be lots of apples
available for picking. On weekends our tractor pulled wagon
takes apple pickers out through the orchard and stops at the trees
we are picking that day. The only cost for apple picking is
$1.50 / lb for the apples you pick. The apple picking season
will last through the first weekend of November. Check the
apple Harvest Chart to see
when the different varieties we grow will be ripening.
If you are coming for apple picking on the weekend, sometimes our
parking space gets tight in the middle of the day so if possible
plan to come early (9 to 11 am) or late (3:30 to 5:30 pm).
Fresh Cider is now being pressed and is available in gallons, half gallons, and pints.
Peaches will be
finishing up this week, but should last through Saturday 9/20
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the grounds.
