Our “All About Apples” Field Trip is designed for school groups, ages three and up. In a lively presentation we explain the obvious seasonal changes that take place annually in the orchard, the paralleling subtleties of an Apples’ growth and development on the tree, followed by the steps we take to determine its final destination. Our goal is to give viewers a better understanding of how Apples grow, and what it takes to prepare them for Fresh Market sale or processing into the many Apple Products you might enjoy, including a taste of our fresh pressed Cider! The second part is a hands on Apple Picking experience. We ride out into the orchard and give everyone a chance to try their hand at Apple Picking! Each person will then have their very own kid sized bag of Apples to take home.
